These dolls are 1/12th scale. A model was sculpted in clay then cast in dental plaster. A special blend of waxes was poured into the mold and when hardened, the figure was removed and carefully refined to bring out fine details. Each hair is individually embedded into the scalp. The clothes were hand-sewn using carefully selected fabrics to maintain scale.

The Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City has a copy of nearly every doll that Arlyn created.
